ECsens was established in 2020 as a spin-off from the University of Twente (The Netherlands). A disruptive nanotechnology-based biosensing method was developed, allowing to detect individual submicroscopic biomarkers. ECsens is currently validating this technology for applications in cancer patient monitoring, real-time COPD exacerbation diagnosis and developing rapid, cheap and reliable COVID test.
