ProCarement Jörg Trinkwalter has been a member of the Executive Board of the Medical Valley European Metropolitan Region Nuremberg e.V. since May 2010. In this position, he was responsible for the implementation and (co-)creation of accelerator services in healthcare. Since April 2015, Jörg Trinkwalter has been also Managing Partner of Medical Valley GmbH, nice!Innovations GmbH and TBrace GmbH. Since April 1st 2022 Jörg Trinkwalter is CFO and Partner of ProCarement GmbH, a company with the objective to empower healthcare provider to implement Virtual Heart Centers as-a-service. Since May 2023 the ProCarement app “ProHerz” has been approved by the German Federal Office for Drugs and Medical Devices (BfArM) as the first cardiological digital health application (DiGA) in Germany and is provisionally included in the DiGA directory. This allows physicians to prescribe ProHerz to their heart failure patients, and the costs will be covered by health insurers. This makes ProHerz the first approved “digital cardiac drug” in Germany.
